Road Closure
Thursday and Friday (3/30-31) from 8 pm to 6 am, Manor/Springdale Road in both directions WILL BE CLOSED underneath US 183. Detour: westbound traffic will go north to the US 290 U-turn and continue south on the frontage road to Manor; eastbound traffic will go south to Loyola Lane and U-turn to go north to Springdale.

The Texas turnarounds in both directions at Manor/Springdale will be closed for retaining wall and bridge construction. Drivers wishing to complete a turnaround movement will be able to do so at the signalized intersections instead. This closure is anticipated to last one year.

Five entrance driveways into the Springdale Shopping Center (HEB, KFC, etc) along US 183 southbound frontage road will be closed for several months. Access will remain available from Manor Road.

Road Closure
Dubuque Lane will be closed at the US 183 southbound frontage road for several months. The section of Dubuque Lane between Lynridge Drive and US 183 will be accessible to local traffic only during this time, and construction barricades will be in place. Traffic will detour via Langston Drive to Lynridge Drive.

Construction of the future upgraded general purpose lanes will begin at this location and it will be built in phases.

Traffic on 51st Street on the west side of US 183 from the Super 8 Motel to the US 183 intersection has been shifted to the westbound lane to accommodate construction operations. Traffic patterns will be restored in about four months.

Lane Closure
A major lane reduction will occur along MLK Blvd. between Tannehill Lane & Regency Drive; the roadway will be reduced to 1 lane in each direction. Drivers passing through this interchange may experience increased travel delays.

Bridge Construction
This is to accommodate construction of a new wider bridge at US 183. Once a portion of the new bridge is completed, traffic in both directions will be detoured onto the new bridge so demolition of the old bridge can take place, and the remainder of the new bridge can be constructed.

Walnut Creek Bike Trail: Intermittent Closures under Boggy Creek Bridge
Sidewalk Closure | Shared Use Path

Sidewalk Closure
Beginning March 20 and lasting several weeks, intermittent closures of the Walnut Creek Hike and Bike Trail will occur where the trail crosses underneath the Boggy Creek Bridge. The closures will be limited to 15 minutes at a time, and will be facilitated by flaggers during overhead work to protect the public. To minimize delays for those who bike to work, intermittent closures will occur outside of morning and afternoon peak periods. The trail will remain otherwise accessible during this time period, with the exception of night work which may require full closure of the trail in this section between the hours of 8pm and 6am. This night work will be limited to one or two nights and will be signed in advance.
